The campsites are not stacked up on each other so unlike other state parks you can camp at this one allows more privacy. Rocky and sloped campsites so they have built platforms to pitch the tent. Swimming at a lake is allowed with lifeguards, though not very deep and can get crowded. Bear country. – Dpuck Fishing and Outdoors
A beautiful place to go for a prefect hiking experience. I went there with two of my best friends Kevin and Giovanny Hernandez. We walked for two hours through marvelous trails well marked so you don’t get lost. At the end, we were a little tired, so we decided to swim at the lake. It was just perfect. – Alexander Lobo
Spectacular 360° view at the monument point on Halloween morning with bits of snow and lots of colorful autumn leaves. The monument trail was pleasant to walk. It’s easy for beginners, not to much climbing and descending. The trail is easy to follow. Not all restrooms are open, so plan ahead. – Xuan Vu

Nice local hardware needs and unique equipment. They seem to stock mostly all you would need to get out of small jams. We bought potting soil, fuses, flash lights, rubber kids boots, RV stuff.
